I have always been too lazy to figure cook so these no bake protein balls are a delicious and great solution. It’s a little sticky but only takes 15 minutes to make which is amazing. They are perfect for snacking and even taking to work to nibble on. It’s sweet from the honey, but a little savory from the almond butter.
What You Need
- Almond butter/ Peanut butter/ Cashew butter
- 3 cups Rolled Oats
- 1 cup of almond butter
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 3tbsp of flavored protein powder — chocolate is my favorite
- 1/3 cup of water
- optional: coconut flakes
How It’s Done
Add all the ingredients (mentioned above) into a mixing bowl. Mix together with a wooden spoon.
Tip: If you find that it’s not sticky enough, add more honey until you’re satisfied with the consistency. If it gets too gooey, add more rolled oats. It’s a balancing act that you have to figure out once you start playing with the mixture.
Time to get your hands dirty: wash your hands, remove all jewelry and dig your hands in to the mixture. Grab some mixture and start squeezing it in to a ball, and then roll in the palms of your hands. It’s totally up to you how big you want to make them.
Once you have rolled them in to little balls, put them on a plate and put them in the fridge to let them harden a little. Et voila, you have a set of perfect no bake protein balls. They are packed with energy, healthiness and deliciousness.
